The fire starters are water-resistant and compatible with all grill types, including charcoal and pellet grills, as well as smokers. They offer a natural alternative to lighter fluid, eliminating the need for messy and potentially hazardous chemicals.

To use the fire starters with a charcoal chimney starter, simply place one under the vented base on a safe, flat surface. Light it with a Kingsford long-reach lighter or a match, and allow the charcoals to ash over before spreading them over the grilling surface.

For use with a charcoal mound or firewood, place 2-3 starters evenly throughout the mounded charcoal or into the inner ring of the firewood logs. Again, light them with a Kingsford long-reach lighter or a match.

Caution should be exercised when using the fire starters, as windy weather can disperse lit embers, potentially causing unintended fires. It is recommended to use them in a dry, safe, and well-ventilated area where temperatures do not exceed 110°F. Do not add more starters if the fire or coals are already hot, and never leave them unattended or breathe the fumes.
